Mei-Lin Chang, 89, of San Francisco, California, entered eternal rest on February 14, 2025. A revered tea master and guardian of her family’s traditions, she shared her wisdom and heritage with generations.
Born in Shanghai, Mei-Lin immigrated to the United States in the 1950s, bringing with her a deep love for Chinese culture. She opened Golden Lotus Tea House, where she not only served tea but also shared stories, history, and warmth with all who entered.
She is survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, and many who considered her a guiding light.
