Ricardo “Rick” Mendoza, 50, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on February 12, 2025. A proud Texan and hardworking entrepreneur, Rick was the heart and soul of Mendoza Auto Repair, a family-owned business that served his community for over two decades.
Born to immigrant parents from Mexico, Rick embodied the American dream. He worked tirelessly to build a successful business while always finding time to mentor young men in his neighborhood, encouraging them to pursue education and skilled trades.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Sofia, their two daughters, and a host of family and friends who will miss his laughter and wisdom.
